PEEK Hammertoe Implant System

Overview

The EXALTA PEEK hammertoe system includes ToeGrip EVO, Classic, and Retrograde implants designed to streamline hammertoe correction and improve surgical efficiency. Each implant features a one piece PEEK design with intramedullary arms that provide press fit fixation within the proximal and distal phalanges for immediate stability. Tapered geometry and macrostructures deliver strong primary fixation to support bone consolidation. The ToeGrip EVO restores natural toe alignment through an anatomical offset, while the Retrograde version allows K wire guided placement. First introduced in France in 2010, ToeGrip was the first PEEK hammertoe implant.
